George Sarcevich started his career as an investment banker in NYC and spent more than 10 years covering energy, telecommunications, and emerging market clients with Goldman Sachs, Bear Stearns, and HSBC Securities. Leaving Wall Street, he co-founded and served as CFO of Los Angeles based IX2 Networks, a leading provider of carrier-neutral colocation services. He led negotiations for three firm purchase offers totaling more than $100 million.
Since moving to Southeast Europe he worked as a Special Advisor to the Serbian Ministry of Finance, Ministry of International Relations, and the Privatization Agency and advised the Ministry of Finance and Privatization Agency in Montenegro. He co-founded Bastion Group, a Belgrade-based financial advisor purchased by KBC Securities in 2007, and started Eagle Ventures, the first technology venture capital fund targeting Southeast Europe. Currently, he is Managing Director of Caelum Capital, a Belgrade based financial advisor and activist investor.
Mr. Sarcevich is a Board Member of the Serbian Association of American Football and a three-time coach of the Serbian National team.
He is a graduate of Princeton University.
